About Us

Scandinavian Residence was build during 2004 and 2005. We opened the Guesthouse for Guests on January 19th. 2006. Since then we have welcomed thousands of happy People from all over the World, spending their Holiday and hard earned Money on an unforgettable Holiday in the LOS, the Land Of Smiles, Thailand.

We are a small, Family run Guesthouse, situated only about 4 min's drive from the famous Ao Nang Beach. 27 km's from The Krabi International Airport, 160 km's from The Phuket Airport, 17 km's to Krabi Town. We are located in quiet Surroundings, but still close to all the Action on the Beach Road. The Hotel Entrance opens directly to the main Road between Ao Nang and Krabi. Songthaews passing by every 5 or 10 minutes offering you cheap Transportation to Krabi Town or the Beach.

Furthermore, a lot of small, cozy Thai Restaurants has popped up just outside and around the Hotel, so if you want some variety from the Famous Danish Open Sandwiches (Smørrebrød) and the European style Breakfast it's only 2 Minutes away. If you forgot the Toothbrush don't panic, 7/11 is just across the Street.
